Miami Dade College Kendall Campus in Miami, Florida, has invited George W.
Bush to speak at the College's commencement exercises on April 28, 2007.
As students, faculty, alumni and members of the global community who are
concerned with our country's future, we respectfully demand that Mr. Eduardo
Padrón and the Board of Trustees retract this invitation.
WE REJECT THE BUSH AGENDA, and we reject George W. Bush as a role model at
the Miami Dade College graduation.
(note: your email information will not be displayed)
We reject the continuing occupation in Iraq, the use of torture, the
suspension of habeas corpus, and the unlawful spying on American citizens.
Furthermore, by refusing to acknowledge the dangerous political conditions
in Haiti and other parts of the world, Mr. Bush causes further pain and
suffering every day.
Miami Dade College, America's largest institution of higher education,
should agree that Mr. Bush does not represent the values of our community or
our country.
