We are asking you as a representative of our county to remove our county records from online indexing and viewing of documentation. We strongly disagee with the publishing in this type of manner our sensitive information, i.e., social security numbers, dates of birth, account numbers, medical records and our signatures. This type of behavior threatens the safety of our persons and financial well-being. Some of us have restraining orders, please protect us from our offenders finding us. Some of us have small children, please protect us from the sex offenders finding them through access of birth dates and birth records. We have assets, please stop providing this financial information. Your decision to post our sensitive information on the internet is allowing remote access by thieves and sex offenders to zone in and take what we have spent a lifetime building. They are killing us, stealing our identities and our signatures. They are stalking women and children. Bring our information back to the safety of the 4 walls of the courthouse where terrorists, identity theives, rapists and child molesters don't make a habit of visiting. Stop allowing title companies or imaging companies from purchasing our records and selling our images to online document services that give our sensitive information to foreign counties and terrorists. We do not wish for this information to be on the internet and feel this is not in the best interests of the citizens of Collin County.
