Trump has spent his first months in office issuing executive orders that attack our rights, dismantle important government programs, and stretch way beyond the authority of the presidency. And his MAGA allies in Congress continue to allow him to ignore our Constitution.
Thankfully, Trump is facing pushback to his power grab in court, and there are a handful of judges who are keeping Trump in check. He's recently been handed a series of defeats in his efforts to block DEI initiatives, withhold funding from "sanctuary" jurisdictions, and add a proof-of-citizenship requirement to the federal voter registration form.
As Trump faces more legal battles in the coming months, we hope more judges will enforce the Constitution and act as a much-needed check on Trump's quest for dictatorship.
