A villager in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra in India found a two-month-old leopard cub in the woods and tied it's legs together with a rope and brought it back to his village. The villagers poked, prodded, and played with it while posing with the cub for pictures. The Indian Forest Department rescued the cub but no action has been taken against this villager. Consequences need to be imposed on this man for his actions as well as sending a message that animals are not for our amusement and they need to be protected. If there aren't any consequences, then how will people learn to respect and care for our wildlife. I demand that the local authorities take action. They can use the video footage and pictures to arrest the perpetrator. Please help me by taking a moment to sign and share this petition. We need to be a voice for the voiceless.
