Petition for Stronger Animal Rights Protections in the Philippines

We, the undersigned Filipino citizens, are writing to express our deep concern regarding the inadequate protection of animals in the Philippines and to urge the immediate implementation of stronger animal welfare legislation. We believe that all sentient beings deserve compassion, respect, and protection from cruelty and exploitation, in accordance with the principles of animal welfare enshrined in the Philippine Constitution and international agreements.
