Stop The Dog Meat Smuggling Trade!

I the undersigned would like to express my outrage, that despite legislation prohibiting the trade in dog meat smuggling in Thailand, this cruel practice continues unchecked.
Thailand is a Buddhist nation and has a reputation for kindness. Allowing such practices to continue is destroying Thailand's reputation in the world. Occasional publicised arrests are not good enough.
The Thai people advise that the people behind this trade are well known but no action is taken against them by the local police because of corruption.
Recent decisions by the courts allowing dogs to be returned to the smugglers after payment of small fines are making Thailand a laughing stock of the world and bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase "Amazing Thailand".
Efforts by the border patrols and Royal Thai Navy to apprehend the smugglers are to be applauded, but this is too little, too late. The trade should be stopped at its source, Tha Reua, by the Thai Army confiscating all the materials and trucks used in the trade and arresting and prosecuting the criminals behind it, who are making millions of dollars a year from this trade.
Please convey my feelings to Thailand's Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra as a matter of great importance that the laws prohibiting the dog meat smuggling trade should be actively enforced throughout Thailand.
