Prevent Trump from defunding LGBTQ suicide hotlines

Taylor Hubbard's office at the LGBT Network is filled with messages of hope, kindness and love. But the mental health clinician says they're not feeling any of that from the Trump administration. After a leaked Trump administration budget draft showed plans to cut funding for a federal suicide prevention hotline dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth, advocates in New York are sounding the alarm. The suicide hotline in question currently receives 2,100 contacts in average per day. Needless to say that dismantling this beacon of hope to many desperate souls (most of whom likely have no where else to turn to) would be an extremely dangerous decision that would cost numerous young lives!
