Keep Off-Leash Access At Purgatory Park!!

  • recipient: Minnetonka Park Board, Mayor, and City Council

The city of Minnetonka has changed the ordinance that all dogs need to be on leash in city parks except in designated off-leash areas. A Purgatory Master plan was approved, but then shelved for a working group, designated by the City Council, to align on off-leash dog areas at a few Minnetonka parks. The working group couldn't align on where those off-leash areas should be at Purgatory Park so now the decision is with city staff on where to put off-leash areas at Purgatory park. We want to KEEP THE EXISTING off-leash areas at Purgatory Park. We need the city to know how many people want to maintain the current off-leash areas at Purgatory Park.

Update #2yesterday
