Last fall, more than 150 former students of Patrick Henry College released a letter blasting Freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) for his well-known history of sexual misconduct.
Forcible and unwanted kissing and touching, public harassment – so much so that women at his school were warned not to be alone with Cawthorn, who was infamous for taking dates on secluded drives and then locking the doors before starting his advances.
Cawthorn is only 25 years old...so this is extremely recent history.

Cawthorn has (of course) denied any wrongdoing. But he is freshly under scrutiny for making false statements regarding other details of his personal life in recent campaign videos, as well as bandwagoning on Trump's coup – he was a featured speaker at the January 6th rally, repeating Trump's baseless accusations of election fraud and later claiming the Democrats paid for the storming of the Capitol.
In short, he's already a proven liar. So...how about those sexual misconduct allegations?
