Help Stop the Use of Palm Oil!

(NOTE: I have only listed the biggest users, the "dirty 19")Palm Oil is destroying the environment and killing animals. In order to get to the resources they need, farmers must kill orangutans that live in the trees in very brutal ways. They will sometimes burn them alive, run over them with vehicles, or shoot them. Recently and elephant attacked palm oil farmers who were encroaching on his living space.. He killed three farmers so he and many other elephants were shot. Please sign this petition so that we won't need to use palm oil and innocent animals who are victims of these farmers will not have to be killed.
We the undersigned believe that the use of palm oil should be stopped or at least significantly cut back. We understand that palm oil is needed to make many products, but surely there must be a better way! The killing of animals has upset many an environmentalist. We know that elephants, rhinos, and tigers have endangered the life of plantation workers, but this was only in a matter of self defense. Farmers are taking over their living space and giving them no choice but to defend themselves. If the palm oil farmers continue taking over and harvesting, issues like this will keep popping up, and I would prefer all humans and animals live safely with no deaths. It is a very steep price to pay to lose our land's natural beauty just so that we can eat cookies or wash our hair for fifty cents cheaper. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my petition!
