Demand Justice for Jonathan Hoang: Treat His Disappearance as a Crime

On March 30, 2025, 21-year-old Jonathan Hoang—an autistic young man from Arlington, WA—disappeared under troubling and suspicious circumstances.

Despite clear evidence, the SCSO has failed to treat Jonathan's disappearance with the urgency and seriousness it demands. We believe Jonathan's case should be investigated as a crime or kidnapping immediately—not as a simple missing persons case. Time is critical. Delays and missteps can mean the difference between life and death.

We, the undersigned, demand:

1. That SCSO immediately treat Jonathan Hoang's disappearance as a crime and possible kidnapping

2. That an interagency task force, including the Washington State Patrol and the FBI, be formed to properly investigate this case—or that SCSO immediately cede jurisdiction to state or federal authorities who are better equipped to handle a case of this magnitude

Jonathan and his family deserve answers. Jonathan deserves justice.

We cannot let another vulnerable person fall through the cracks. We need action. We need accountability. We need a real investigation—NOW.
