FATHER MIKE MAYER IS BEING REMOVED!!!!
The Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester Priest Personnel Board has decided to reassign our Parochial Vicar, Father Michael Mayer, to a different parish, and our Apostolic Administrator, Syracuse Diocese Bishop Robert Cunningham, has approved this action.
This decision fails take the best interest of Saint Pius X Church into consideration! After years of being assigned priests who have alienated and disappointed many in our faith community due to various faults and shortcomings, we finally have a cleric who has helped our parish heal deep, painful wounds and move forward in faith, hope and love of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Father Mike has truly been a gracious blessing from God to our parish.
