Stop the Expansion of Interstate 95

The U.S Government is expanding interstate 95 through Lumberton from the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act which will expand all federal roads. With expansion, this will destroy more wildlife habitats and possibly destroy people’s homes and businesses. The swamps and marshes are already endangered by construction zones and the wildlife within those areas. If this continues, more wildlife will be encroaching into our backyards or go extinct. Another concern is more traffic will be on the roads which will cause more accidents and noise pollution and more emissions. We can stop this terrible expansion and save the land and save lives.
