Pass AI Safeguards Now

As AI capabilities increase, misuse and misalignment of powerful AI systems presents dangerous risks, including chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats. Congress must pass bipartisan safeguards that protect Americans from the worst threats by monitoring AI capabilities, requiring incident reporting, and developing benchmarks for AI safety.
