Hall Green farm is an intensive pig farm in Wakefield, England that houses thousands of pigs at any one time. Hall Green Farm was investigated over a period of 6 months and the conditions inside were horrific.

please watch this short documentary of the investigation above.

since the making of this expose another group of activists have visited the farm and found conditions even worse with rotting abortions left in with piglets, buckets of dead piglets left out in the farrowing sheds, open infected wounds as well as piglets having seizures and empty, disconnected water troughs like previously.

alongside the animal concerns there are also environmental reasons for pressuring this farm to close, A 2019 EAT Lancet report projected that in order to feed a population of 10 billion within planetary boundaries - we would have to cut meat consumption by 90%. Yet there remains around 10,000 pig farms in the UK, with pig farming being linked to water and air pollution as nutrients in pig manure damage the ecosystems of rivers and surrounding areas and Meat and dairy production shown to contribute more emissions than the entire transport sector combined, we need to act now!

Hall Green Farm is in the centre of a residential area and the smell from the farm is ripe and covers the whole area, residents have complained to environmental health for years with no resolve.
