Nearly every day since Harvey Weinstein's decades-long history of sexual abuse was exposed, more sexual assault and harassment allegations against Hollywood's biggest celebrities and most powerful businessmen have come out. On top of that, we're also learning that countless others have been complicit in letting these men get away with abuse.
Louis C.K. is the latest celebrity accused of sexual predation, and like the others, he had help keeping the women he abused silent. Specifically, his manager Dave Becky of 3Arts Entertainment has been
accused of pressuring Louis C.K.'s victims to keep quiet.
Dave Becky represents many big-name comedians and actors, and we are calling on all of them to take a stand against Hollywood's culture of sexual abuse by dropping Becky and finding new representation immediately. At this point, any more silence is complicity.Some of Dave Becky's clients include Bill Burr, Bo Burnham, Seann William Scott, Jake Johnson, Amy Poehler, Aziz Ansari, Hannibal Buress, Maya Rudolph, and Natasha Lyonne, among others. We recognize that these celebrities are not responsible for Dave Becky's actions, but the longstanding culture of sexual abuse against women has been allowed to exist for so long because of how many people turned their heads upon learning about the misconduct of others. We cannot let this happen anymore.
