SAVE THE OLD TOWN FIREHOUSE MURAL!

Stan Gates, owner of the historical firehouse in Old Town Pocatello, commissioned local artist Christopher Doucette to paint an amazing mural of running horses on the exterior of the building. Unfortunately, the Historical Preservation Committee has rejected the permit for the mural, suggesting that it should be removed!

Dear Pocatello City Council Members and Historical Preservation Committee:

Public art brings color and life to a community. The recently finished mural on the historic firehouse is a valuable and beautiful addition to our city.

Please hear the appeal by the building owner, Stan Gates, and grant the necessary permit to maintain the mural.
