Let VSU Students Have The Rest Of The Week Off For Their Safety

"I'm 30-45min south of Atlanta in Henry County, I'm not sure if this is ALL of what we'll see of Irma but it's already flooded in my neighbors who are in a lower part of the hill, so God forbid it gets worse and we're flooded. I agree 100%, if Valdosta wasn't put on a voluntary evacuation and students just chose to leave, then maybe I'd say keep going with the school on Tuesday.

"Honestly I feel like the rest of the week should be cancelled this storm is so unpredictable and extra, and so many students are dealing with different aspects and damage amounts. What may be safe for 10 might not be safe for another 10."

-"I'm in North Georgia right now and along with power surges, excessive flooding, and damage to my neighborhood, a tree has crushed my family's car which is the only way for me to return back to campus. If it is possible, can the administration PLEASE consider reinstating classes next week, rather than Wednesday. Plus, it'll just be a two day week for most people if we start back on Wednesday anyway."
