A leaked memo reveals that the Trump administration has ordered the Office of Management and Budget to tell all federal agencies to suspend payments — with the exception of Social Security and Medicare.
He cannot do this. Congress has already allocated the funding and it MUST be dispensed. This wildly illegal order should spark a major constitutional crisis the likes of which we've never seen before, and he must be impeached immediately. It calls into question the very nature of the relationship between the executive and the legislative branches; if the presidency is allowed to freely overrule the will of Congress, we will be living in a dictatorship.

The lives of millions upon millions of Americans will be upended in an instant; millions won't be able to buy food if their SNAP payments are frozen and countless more people will be forced to drop out of college.
