Don't kill swans in East Jordan,MI

The DNR have been killing swans in East Jordan because they say they are not native,even though they have been here for about 200 years.To kill them,they break their eggs,and if that doesn't work,they will fill their nests with oil,which can get into lake charlivoix.If they are just adults,they will shoot them,which usually doesn't kill them at first so they suffer,and then leave their bodies in a landfill.
