Ask the North-West University Potchefstroomcampus to teach Veterinary science.

South Africa has a skills deficit and doesn't have enough vets. While this is going on, the University of Pretoria (UP) has limited place for prospective students and also has the only Veterinary faculty in te country. Furthermore the UP also has quotas, meaning some of the best candidates won't be able to study veterinary science because of limited space and demographics.

The NWU-Puk campus has the location as well as the skill to start another veterinary faculty being in a agricultural and rural area of the country. Furthermore, it is problably the only campus which will be able to give tuition bilingually (Afrikaans and English) drawing a greater range of students. The NWU also have the infrastructure to start a veterinary faculty/school.

Please, NWU, the country needs more vets urgently. Why let poor animals suffer because of politics and a skills deficit?

The Animals of South Africa needs your help!
