We Need More "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" Movies!

If you haven't seen the Netflix teen romance "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" yet … stop reading and go watch it.

If you have seen it — then you'll want to immediately SIGN and SHARE my petition calling on Netflix to greenlight a sequel!

The movie, about the funny and romantic fall out when Lara Jean's secret love letters to her crushes are mysteriously mailed out, is based on the bestselling young adult novel by Jenny Han. The book has TWO sequels for Netflix to pull from: P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean, that continue the story of Lara Jean, her amazing family, and of course — of the dreamy Peter Kavinsky.

The Netflix movie is deservedly getting a ton of positive press for its diverse cast, its wistful and sweet depiction of high-school love, and thoughtful story about tricky family dynamics. We just have to see more!

If you want MORE Lara Jean — and definitely MORE Peter Kavinsky  please sign my petition calling on Netflix to hurry up and make more sequels to "To All the Boys I've Loved Before."

One HUGE caveat for Netflix — although we love the movie, please recast actor Israel Broussard, who played Lara Jean's boy-next-door crush, Josh. Recently, Broussard's racist, homophobic, and offensive past tweets have been widely shared online — and this type of hate has NO PLACE in the wonderful "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" universe.

This movie is a trailblazer in having an Asian American actress as the romantic lead and so it's particularly upsetting that Broussard has made racist jokes about Asian people, along with hateful comments on the Black Lives Matter movement — and even going as far to support horrific extremist conspiracy tweets calling the school-shooting at Sandy Hook a "hoax."

The "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" sequels don't need Broussard as Josh — but we need more Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky. Sign my petition calling on Netflix to immediately greenlight sequels: P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, Lara Jean!
