Three House Cats Just Died From Bird Flu. It's Time to Act.

New reports about the bird flu virus killing house cats means that our beloved pets are at risk. To make matters worse, this disease could potentially jump to humans, causing a widespread health crisis – or even another pandemic. Governor of California Gavin Newsom just declared a state of emergency, and it's time the rest of the United States treat the bird flu like the threat it is.

Sign the petition to demand the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) treat the bird flu virus with the urgency it demands!

It seems that these innocent cats died from drinking raw milk linked to a farm with a bird flu outbreak.

Recent studies have demonstrated that cats, like some other domestic animals, can act as "mixing vessels" for the flu virus, potentially allowing it to adapt and jump between species. Without stringent controls and proactive measures, we risk the virus mutating and leading to a health crisis comparable to or worse than previous pandemics.

Let's not wait until it's too late. We must fight to protect our pets but also help safeguard our communities from potential disaster.

Sign the petition to urge the CDC to take the bird flu virus seriously!
