Trump is making comments about the possibility of him seeking a third term in office, and even selling "Trump 2028" merchandise. It's unclear if he's serious or just being a troll, but either way his comments are dangerous and show how he really views himself – as a king, and a dictator.
A third Trump term would be flat-out unconstitutional (not to mention a complete disaster that our country can't afford) – but that hasn't stopped Trump's allies from promoting this idea and even introducing legislation in Congress to help make it happen.
It's time for Republicans in Congress to put country over Trump, obey their oath to the Constitution, and say unequivocally that Trump cannot have a third term.
