Michael Vick, the convicted dogfighting ring operator, want to own a dog.
Vick served 18 months in prison after being convicted in 2007. A judge federal judge also sentenced him to three years probation, ending in May 2012. One of the terms: He could not own dogs during that time.
If someone abused and was responsible for the death of many children, you wouldn't give them more children because they claim they have rehabilitated themselves and "deserve a second chance."
Pet-keeping is a privilege and he lost that privilege when he committed atrocious acts of cruelty in the months and years before his arrest in 2007. Support the judge's decision to prohibit Vick from owning a dog.
