I WANT TO SEE AN END TO COMMERCIAL BREEDING IN CALGARY!

Because commercial breeding is allowed in Calgary and in the rest of Alberta, a lot of animals are suffering! I saw an ad on a buy/sell sight that was in the city limits and these people has 4 litters of 5 Flemmish Giant rabbits each and they didn't care if they were sold for meat rabbits! When I warned them to get the owner's ID and say that they would visit the rabbit to make sure they were used for pets only, they emailed me back and said they eat them themselves! They asked if I wanted to buy all of them for $800! To try and get their address and have someone check out the truth of this, I said I would, but they didn't get back! Because it's legal to sell them, I wouldn't have much luck telling the Humane Society about this! I also don't like that young farm kids can get on the buy/sell sites and sell quail eggs, quail themselves or any other animals for meat! Some rabbits and other animals could even end up in the hands of people who might kill them for fish bait! This need to stop as a lot of animals are suffering!
