In India the Rules for Animal Cruelty has not been changed from many years. Those who even kill an animal is charged maximum of Rs.50($ 0.70) only that is also charged rarely. No one has been charged for Animals cruelty and no punishment has been given to the culprit. Even the Police officers Don't know about animal cruelty. Whenever someone files a complaint of animal cruelty they just say its a piece of paper for us and no action would be taken against them.
Why there are no updates in animal welfare bill just because they can't speak and can't stand for their rights.
It's high time that stricter bills are framed and implementation should be done properly.
We want thegovernment to pass new laws for Animals so that they can have a life and those who try to help animals won't suffer.Recently many cases of animal cruelty has been registered but no one is given jail term. Please Change the laws Animals too deserve their rights.
