After all the debate, and studies on synthetic turf playing surfaces there are still those who would say "no" for the sake of saying "no" to change in our community.
The concerns have been acknowledged, listened to, and answered in a fair, and unbiased manner. Many, and most importantly local, studies have concluded there are no health, or environmental risks with this type of project.
Let's reduce our commuting, reduce our emissions, and stay and play on Bowen Island.
Say "yes" for the sake of saying "yes" to increased activity, both economic, and physical in our community.

We, the undersigned, fully support the completion of the synthetic grass field project on the proposed site.
This is a chance for Bowen Island to address one of our largest community gaps: recreational facilities for families. Supporting the project will recognize the countless hours of Bowen volunteer and professional analysis that has already taken place on this proposal, allowing us to move forward based on their fair and balanced assessment of the benefits and costs.
Children and adults alike will benefit from access to this field, and having grant money available and allocated is a great opportunity to pursue. Let's move forward, reduce our carbon footprint, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and keep our community living and playing on Bowen.
