Montreal bestaat dit jaar 375 jaar. Er zijn veel fantastische festiviteiten georganiseerd. Helaas is er ook het plan om een Rodeo te organiseren. Met als doel het een jaarlijks evenement te maken. Het gekke is rodeo is niet eens Canadees, laat staan dat we het in Montreal kennen.
Er zijn al lokale actie groepen geweest, die hebben geprobeerd het tegen te houden. Helaas geeft de burgemeester niet om dierenwelzijn of wat de bevolking ervan vindt. Hij geeft echter wel om de internationale imago van de stad en is vooral gevoelig voor buitenlandse interesse.
Onderteken de petitie en laten zien hoe we in Europa denken over dierenmishandeling. De burgemeester zal zien dat hij zij trotse imago op het spel zet als hij dit doorzet
The City of Montreal will be celebrating its' 375th birthday in 2017. Among the festivities, they plan to hold a rodeo (which by the way they hope to make an annual event). this a strange idea because a rodeo isn't Canadian and for sure in Montreal we don't know such a thing. Several local groups are working to stop this from happening by exerting pressure on the Coderre Government. This in itself is unlikely to stop the rodeo as the mayor doesn't concern himself with animal issues, nor does he worry about public opinion on animal issues. Mr. Coderre does however worry about international press and how this city is perceived beyond our borders.

Montreal is a amazing city of parties and it's extra great this year it's 375 years old. We have something great to celebrate! But why should you want to add a animals ambuse like a rodeo Among the festivities.
It makes it very diffulcult to explain my friends in Europa that montreal is a great city. It's ruining the great image of Quebec and Montreal in Europe like my country of orgin The Netherlands.

Montréal est une incroyable ville avec de fêtes et c'est super génial 2017 ce le année 375 ans. Nous avons quelque chose de grand à célébrer! Mais pourquoi voudriez-vous organiser une activité dans laquelle les animaux sont maltraités comme un rodéo. Il est très difficile d'expliquer à mes amis en Europe que Montréal est magnifique. Pourquoi voulez-vous ruiner l'image de Montréal et Quebec en Europe comme mon pays d'origine aux Pays-Bas.
