GOAL 15,000

On Eagles Wings Ministries is a women's ministry in Western North Carolina. Currently we have a campaign called GOAL 15,000. We are hoping we will be able to reach 15,000 people and get 15,000 signatures in efforts to raise awareness about sex trafficking and what is taking place in the United States. Our Hope House Project is the sister project of GOAL 15,000. The Hope House is a home for domestic minor sex trafficking victims. Visit www.hopehousenc.com for more info.
Please read the information below and sign after you have read it. We encourage you to tell others. If you would like to know how to be involved with helping these victims or learn how to identify victims, please contact Emily Fitchpatrick at emily@emilyfitchpatrick.com.

Cities such as Atlanta, Las Vegas, Boston, Charlotte, Tampa, Dallas, New Orleans, Buffalo, Kansas City (and many more) are finding that sex trafficking is a problem that needs attention.

Traffickers use coercive tactics including deception, fraud, intimidation, isolation, threat, physical force, debt bondage and even force feeding drugs to control their victims. One girl in Atlanta reported that she was kept in a dog crate for 30 days as abusers tried to break her down emotionally. Pimps and traffickers also threaten to kill a victim's family if they try to run.
