We the under signed ask that you please recognize the contributions Mr. Art Wall Jr. has made to the game of golf. A true gentleman both on and off the course and a real credit to the game of golf. His professional carreer was delayed by his service in the United States Army during WWII. During the war he lost his younger brother when his submarine sank in the Pacific and was never recovered.
We urge you to recognize Mr. Wall and to nominate him posthumously in the Veterans Category for entry into World Golf Hall of Fame. Mr. Jack Peter of the Hall has advised us that Mr. Wall does meet the qualifications for entry. Some background information on Mr. Wall is included in the petition.
We sincerely thank you for your consideration.
