The NJSPCA is facing it's biggest struggle yet. The NJ Legislature has a bill pending that would remove the NJSPCA's authority from enforcing the animal cruelty laws within the state of NJ and pass the responsibility to local and county authorities without funding them for this endeavor. The local and county police are already overwhelmed with their daily functions. The NJSPCA has the system in place and the personnel trained to handle the calls that they have already been doing it for 150 years. Show your support for the NJSPCA here and don't let them get pushed out.
Please call your local Assemblyman or Assemblywoman and tell them to vote NO on bill A5231 next week.
