This is incredible news! Jennifer McClellan just made history after winning her election to fill an open seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. She triumphed over her right-wing opponent and became the first Black woman elected to Congress from Virginia!
Jennifer McClellan spent 16 years in the Virginia state legislature, fighting for voting rights, abortion access, action on climate change, better schools, and more. She has been a champion for her constituents and we're thrilled to have her in Congress, working for all of us!
