Boycott Hershey's Chocolate

Hershey PA, Hershey Chocolate factories are moving to Mexico to cut the cost of labor and to get "closer to the cocao beans"

This is putting an entire town in a state of economic depression, effectively destroying lives and families.

I am asking you to please do your part in NOT buying any HERSHEY products to show your dissaproval of the company moving.

Some factoids,

In Mexico what is the first thing they tell you NOT to do?

Answer: Drink the water.

I have been told that Hershey's factories which are already down there use good old regular unpurified Mexican water to mix and wash machinary...lovely isn't it?

What is a factory worker going to do after the plant closes down?

Answer: Move away to find work or be forced to collect unemployment...

This will effectively start to slowly bleed the economy of hershey pa.

I've created a myspace group and I beg you to spread the word and let it be known that this injustice cannot stand...we already have let many companies do this and this has to be where the line is drawn in the sand...please pledge NOT to purchase/consume ANY hershey products as long as this disgusting deed is being commited.

We need to do something, my granddad once told me a story about he knew a man who once had a run in with Mr. Hershey...His car was broken down aside of the road and Mr. Hershey helped him, the man offered money but Mr. Hershey declined and said "Just help the next guy who comes along."

He did so much for the area, created jobs, an amusement park, a school for kids with less the bright beginnings, isn't it time we help Hershey a little bit?
