Crime is declining across the country -- tell Trump and Republicans to stop spreading the lie that it's "out of control"

Trump, J.D. Vance, and other Republicans out on the campaign trail love to stoke fear by proclaiming that crime is "out of control" in every city in America. At an event near Detroit, Trump said: "You can't walk across the street to get a loaf of bread. You get shot, you get mugged, you get raped."

This is an out-and-out LIE. Actual data from the FBI show that crime is falling across the country. In cities and towns from coast to coast, violent crimes are on the decline.
