In 2003, a high school in Idaho adopted eight wolf pups. Recently, federal agents killed all of those poor wolves. Biologists who tracked the wolves discovered their den empty. The US Department of Agriculture (who are probably already responsible for the cruelty towards and killing of innocent farmed animals) killed these poor wolves.
Idaho are/were planning on killing 90% of their wolf population. These wolves were reintroduced to Idaho for a reason; they are native and vital apex predators. They are also sentient beings who deserve a right to live!
Wolves are misunderstood. Attacks by healthy, wild wolves on humans are extremely rare. They generally stay away from humans.
Yes, wolves do kill and eat farmed animals. They are predators driven by instinct. They need to kill and eat meat in order to survive. It's nature. Humans kill and scare off their natural prey, and destroy their forests. Humans also breed and keep these animals close to where wolves live naturally. The farmers and ranchers, and their farmed animals, are on the wolves' land, not the other way around! The wolves have more right to exist in the land than the farmers and ranchers do. The wolves serve a very important purpose to nature. Humans destroy it.
Also, how can farmers and ranchers feign care for the animals when they are the ones exploiting, abusing and killing them? The wolves need to kill and eat meat in order to survive. We don't. We can live quite well on vegan diets…
We, the Undersigned, kindly demand that Idaho make wolves a strictly protected species and stop the hunting, trapping and killing of wolves!
