Have you heard of the Japanese art of Bonsai? Yes, it is an aincient pasttime that has gone on for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. But in the last hundred years, it has evolved into the terribly inhumane 'art' of "Bonsai Kitten". The procedure, as they call it, is to take a kitten that is about a week old, and cram it into a glass or plastic jar that is a little bit smaller than the kitten, and seal it up. Then, you drill holes into the container for a feeding tube that will provide your 'delightful' kitty with a blend liquid goo that barely keeps them alive. Most often, they will seal the kittens anus with super glue (yes, I couldn't believe it either) and, I'm not entirely sure how, but it said that "the kitten's body will form a natural..." something or other, basicly so it never goes to the bathroom and absorbs it's own waste into it's intestines. How sick can these people be? In most cases, they leave the kitten in That itty bitty box for life. Seriously. They just set it on the shelf and show it off to their guests. However sometimes, they will remove the kitten after a few weeks of living in a teeney box, and wolah! it's in the shape of the box, and you have a new novelty item to add to your collection! This horrible site encourages you to order all the stuff you need on the site- Kitten, and all. If you have the guts to go there, you will find that while they talk about it like it's just like a walk in the park, The kittens look very uncomfortable and have painful looks on their faces. It will make you cry. Bonsai Kitten is one of the most outrageously cruel and sick twisted things I have ever heard of. I'm quite certain that we can ban the site, and possibly all other sites like it. Then, this terrible thing will at least not be known on the internet. If you want, you can take a look at the horrible site, but I would highly reccomend that you don't. Just hearing some of their bubbly happy phrases that go with the terrible images is enough to make your stomach lurch. Please, sign this petition and save a kitty.
