Animal welfare responsibility to be moved from Agriculture Ministry to Environmental Protection Mini

The responsibility to enforce the animal rights law in Israel is currently given to the Agriculture Ministry. This ministry represents the intersts of farm animal growers and the grim reality is that even the most brutal violations are ignored. We call to pass the responsibility to the ministry of environmental protection who is free from the animal growers interests and can act more indepently. This can yield an immense improvement in farm animal conditions.
