Tell Governor Christie: Protect Our Drinking Water

If Governor Christie refuses to act, New Jersey could face a water crisis similar to what's happening in California.

This summer, two-thirds of New Jerseyans lived in a region hit by severe drought conditions, and several counties put water rationing measures in place.

But rainfall shortages aren't to blame. Groundwater supplies are being depleted across the state because the policies that ensure we have the water we need haven't been updated in nearly two decades!

New Jersey officials have revised our state's Water Supply Master Plan so that communities can protect drinking water supplies, but Governor Chris Christie has yet to release it to the public for input.
