Support Farmers, Ranchers, and Foresters & Protect the Environment
Farmers, ranchers, and foresters are vital in the fight against climate change. A new bill — the Growing Climate Solutions Act — would be a first step in giving them the resources and know-how to support common-sense conservation on their lands.
The bill would provide technical assistance for the agriculture and forestry sectors to reduce air pollution and remove carbon from the atmosphere through natural processes, such as storing it in the soil. It will not only help to create a cleaner future for both people and wildlife, but will also preserve bird habitats, and help rural economies recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

Dear Representative,
As a constituent who cares about birds and the places they need, I'm writing to you to ask you to support the Growing Climate Solutions Act (H.R.2820). Audubon science shows that nearly two-thirds of North American bird species are at risk of extinction due to climate change. The good news is that science also shows that we can improve the chances for the majority (76%) of species if we take action now.
To protect birds and people, Congress must pass common-sense solutions that target greenhouse gas emissions in every part of our economy. Farmers, ranchers, and foresters are vital to the fight against climate change. Investing in our fields, farms, and forests helps reduce pollution and helps preserve and expand the habitat for birds. The Growing Climate Solutions Act will help create a cleaner future for both people and wildlife while also helping rural economies recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
Thank you,
