Demand a Redo Graduation for the Georgia State University's College of Arts and Sciences Spring Class of 2018

On May 10. 2018, the college of arts and sciences planned to graduate at Panther Stadium at 7 pm est. Because of "lightning", we were asked to move indoors for the time being until further notice. After 20 minutes or so, we are asked to go back to the outdoor area to proceed with graduation. When graduation continued, it ended in less than 20 minutes. No one's name was announced. No one walked across the stage. They canceled our graduation ceremony. This caused a disbelief from students and their families. Students have worked very hard and diligently to earn their diplomas and receive them at what should be one of the greatest days of their lives. The graduation experience was stripped away from us students without a single apology. We, students, have waited for this monumental moment for years and we DEMAND a redo of the ceremony to officially reward us for our accomplishments and achievements we have strived for during our time at Georgia State University.
