WE THE TAX PAYING CITIZENS IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND are BEYOND OUTRAGED and DEMAND an IMMEDIATE CALL TO ACTION MEETING regarding the recent new State Law based upon THE SOLESKY RULING.
Under this new Law, Liability Insurance that have higher premiums are needed by property owners that allow PITBULLS to live on their property. Due to this Law, hundereds if not more dogs have had to be re-homed by pet owners (if they were lucky) or mostly likely KILLED. Devestating many families who have been responsible, loved and cared for their dogs like family.
THIS LAW IS A BREED SPECIFIC LAW AGAINST PITBULLS, MAKE NO MISTAKE.
We cannot allow this to continue and wait until January 2014 Session. This is an all out BLOOD BATH ON PITBULLS.Please contact The Baltimore Humane Society and ask them about this Law. They have a PDF File on this Law. Call your local Animal Control Facility and find out how many Pitbulls are coming in due to this Law.
Please politely call and e mail your local Senators, Delegates and Govenor Martin O'Malley and LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU ARE AGAINST BSL AND THAT YOU VOTE!
Many of these local politicians including Govenor O' MALLEY are aspiring to run national campaigns one day, so please SIGN this PETITION even if you are not a Maryland resident... and PLEASE NETWORK THIS FAR AND WIDE!
