The public demands Rod Thorson volunteer for one month at IVAR and come back with an educated opinion
In a recent live Facebook post, Mr Thorson came out swinging against a breed he has zero education about. As a person of the media it is his duty to deliver fact based stories not fear based and uneducated opinions. We as a community wish he volunteers for one month at the local IVAR shelter and come back with an educated opinion and also to be removed from the media platform all together for abusing his privelege.
Mr Thorson,
You have outraged the public with your Facebook live post about the demeanor of the pitbull breed. Not only did you speak a biased opinion but an uneducated one at that and abused your platform of the media spotlight. We request you do some research on the breed and work first hand with them at Illinois Valley Animal Rescue. We then ask that you share your experience and step down from media. You have countlessly insulted people throughout your years of "service" and the public has been privately messaging me to ask you to step down because they fear your reaction to them. Rest assured, I sir do not fear you and I will not stop until you have gained some knowledge and experience not only for the animals but for your business ethics.
