Save Bing's Landing Park

We already have 2,000 signatures on our hardcopy petitions, but we needed an online version for those who don't have access.

With enough local support, we may be able to stop the proposed expansion and relocation of Captain's BBQ Bings Landing County Park. The proposal claims that the current building is unusable due to water damage and therefore must be completely rebuilt in another location to keep from shutting down the restaurant. Captain's BBQ has already expanded to 3X its original size since 2011. The new building would be larger and have a full liquor license and bar. The seating is also planned to increase from 100 to 150, creating the need for 30 additional parking spaces and 7,500 square feet of septic drain field (5X current size), or a costly sewer connection. The restaurant is currently licensed for 60 seats.

Please sign the petition if you want to prevent Captain's BBQ from overwhelming this small but beautiful park that is epitomizes the unique character of the Hammock.
