Impeach GOP Supreme Justices for giving Trump immunity!

The Supreme Court’s streak of legally unsound extremist rulings aimed at dismantling our democracy and government as we know it culminated in the shocking decision to give Donald Trump absolute immunity for criminal acts committed in his official capacity as President.

"Orders the Navy's Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune…Even if these nightmare scenarios never play out, and I pray they never do, the damage has been done. In every use of official power, the President is now a king above the law,” wrote Justice Sotomayor in her dissent. This is a disaster for our country and we must hold the justices accountable.

Impeach the conservative Supreme Court Justices!

Calls for impeachment have already begun echoing through the halls of Congress. “The Supreme Court has become consumed by a corruption crisis beyond its control. Today’s ruling represents an assault on American democracy. It is up to Congress to defend our nation from this authoritarian capture. I intend on filing articles of impeachment upon our return,” wrote Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter.

This ruling is a clear violation of their oath to uphold the Constitution and a partisan abuse of power to enable a fascist strongman. Justice and our democracy demand we remove these judges from office and replace them with judges who will actually do their jobs.
