Punish Trump if he violated the Logan Act

Donald Trump may have violated the Logan Act, a law that criminalizes the negotiation of a dispute between the US and a foreign government by an unauthorized citizen. If he did, he should be prosecuted.

Axios reported that Trump spoke on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, possibly to discuss the ceasefire deal, and Trump may have encouraged him not to take the deal endorsed by President Biden. Both sides are now pushing back, and the details remain murky.
