**ANIMAL CONTROL LAWS IN AVERY COUNTY**

Avery County is just one of many counties in North Carolina which have ZERO animal welfare laws; or laws protecting them from neglect. Since there are no laws protecting these sweet and innocent souls, it is OK to leave animals out in freezing and frigid weather. Or even the exact opposite, scorching hot miserable weather. It's OK to leave a dog chained up 24/7 and nothing is EVER, ever going to be done about it. Unless...we the people stand up and make our voices heard! Let us all come together and take a step in that direction to protect the sweet and innocent souls of these animals. Who want nothing more in the world but to be loved. Let US be their voices!
