A beautiful and gentle horse was tragically and needlessly killed after being hit by a van near the top of Ham Green Hill in Pill, Bristol whilst being ridden. Her owner/rider is completely heartbroken and devastated.
All the driver had to do was wait a few seconds for her to get past 2 parked cars, but didn't. Ham Green Hill is becoming like a racetrack to drivers.
This Hill is also the route for hundreds of school children every day, we need to protect them.
We need to take measures to make this road safer and slower to ensure nothing like this ever happens again.
Please sign my petition to the council to ask for traffic calming measures on this road. If enough people sign, the council will see that they need to take action.
