Live and Let Live : Respect the tormented strays of Kolkata, India

Everyday, thousands of stray dogs are brutally tortured, jeered, thrashed and threatened, jabbed, kicked, thrown away or even killed. This barbaric act of threatening behavior, can it continue in a civilized community?! Is it not an act of shame upon the community, and the people of Bengal, India?
