A major issue in Canada is that companies do not have any requirements to notify the public that their products test on animals. Although animal rights organizations often try to publicize which companies test on animals, most of the consumption of these products is from people who are unaware of what these companies do to animals.

This petition is advocating the fact that cosmetic companies should be required by Canadian law to have a clear marking on their packaging or products, indicating to the public that they test on animals.
